LA picture with other blog

LA - Vegas - Chicago

SO, long story short, went to LA (first time), then vegas. Great trip, pretty much helped mike move in LA. LA was awesome though. I really liked the weather and so forth. I loved venice beach.

I just got the canon sd 550. I highly recommend it. The picture you see was taken by said camera. AWESOME! BUT i don't know what happened but the lcd screen pixels went dead, so now...had to send it back. It is still quite incredible of a device. I should upload a picture of that too, but i'm just toooo tired. Just got off of work. : (

Vegas was good. Did the typical thing there, lost money (gambled) and went to club. I know i swore before, but i'm not going back for a long time. IF i do, it will be to see a show, but really, how many strip shows can one go to without getting bored : ) J/K!

Now i'm back in chicago, i really miss that camera though. I feel soooo materialistic about that, but nonetheless : (

OH, the trip back to chicago sucked. I took the red-eye (11pm) flight back from vegas to chicago. HORRENDOUS! I was placing my bets on a standby flight, but didn't work out. SO, i figured the red-eye would have been not as crowded...WRONG. It got to the point that I was sooo envious of the tiny people on the flight. Really, if you think about it, they fit better in tiny seats : )

Rx 4 RD

MAN, I don't know, but if i think about work, i really don't like it.

Its like one bad customer / patient is really all it takes to ruin your day. I also realized that less than 30% of the u.s. population has a college education. What does that mean? Exhibit A (thats my attempt at lawyer talk)

I had a customer this morning that got kind of got beligerant (sp?) and so forth because medicaid would not pay for their daughters insulin. Why would they not pay for it...? Because she dropped the vial she got last week (which is suppose to last a month) and broke it. He could not understand why they would not pay for it again. Its like if you lost your wallet, would you go back to the place you got it and demand a new one? Probably not, but this guy - i swear - probably would.

Exhibit B,

Pt doesn't think that there is enough medicine in bottle (it was a liquid). Why did she not think that there were 60 mls, in a 120 ml bottle? Because it wasn't filled to the top! In her exact words..."If all the medicine is there, then why isn't the bottle filled to the top?" I should have told her because its not a 2 liter bottle of pop you d_mb (BLEEP). Oh well.

Exhibit C

Women in drive thru at 4am today. "Can i have some Sudafed?" Me, " you can not purchase over the counter products through the drive through" women, "thats stupid, " and drives off. What amazes me though, is that this woman has never gotten psuedofed throught the drive through (against the law).

AND you know my epiphany was last night, my incentive is to have the least number of customers as possible, but walgreens is to have the most. At 90 % of businesses the immediate employee is to have that goal, especially service industry non-tip related. So with that women driving off, or that guy maybe not coming back (the insulin man), thats a bonus for me! My goal is to have the least customers as possible. I know what your thinking, "you might be out of a job" But i'm union now ! j/k : )

SO, like my boss said to me the other day..."you know, for a real big guy, you sure whine alot! "

WAH WAH WAH WAH, : )

i feel better

Baby Girl...

It snowed quite a bit today, and someone wanted to stay warm...

Last...party.....

A HUGE SHOUT OUT! To everyone who made it! I felt bad by not meeting everyone who was there, but silent fart, thanks for a great time.

The party had everything a person could ask for...family, TEAM, beautiful women, angry women, women who tried to pick me up (literally, i.e., anne), Law school students, gracey leg beat down, teachers, drama, men who got back at girlfriends who slept with people before they ever dated, and Chris Reardon. It was a really good time. Something was missing though, but i think its really that i'm probably not going to ever see most of those people (law students). That kind of sucks cuz, honestly, they're alot of fun, They're much more real/down to earth and seem to understand life's too short not to enjoy it now : )

Mental Note*, if you have to ask whether someone can come -even though an event is open invitation- ...that in itself is don't. :)

It kind of sucks, i really wanted to come down there before they all graduated, but bobby's getting married their gradutation weekend.

Saw Nate, that guy is crazzzzzy! Its always good to see him. Also saw frank/emma. They're pretty much married, and are dealing with married issue stuff.

Losing weight....

SO, yesterday i decided to make some food, and whoever came over and ate it...great.

I was actually kind of nervous, cuz your not really sure if other people are going to enjoy what you like. For example, i didn't like the davinci code, but everyone else did. I know, very bad example, but i just wanted to point out that i think that book was horribly written.
ANYWAYS,

Point being one person's taste my differ from another. SO, i basically planned on and bought salmon, rice, chicken wings (buffalo), and potato salad. What did people eat yesterday night....Salmon, rice, and chicken wings. If you notice, you'll see that potato salad is missing. I bought, but no one ate it...? Doesn't make sense.

WELL, i really like potato salad, and to make a long story short...I ate it. I ate all 2.5 lbs of it. Is that some type of record? I'm not sure. What i am sure about is that you know your fat when you eat 2.5 lbs of potato salad (family size) in two hours. It was quite delicous, yet i'm quite disturbed concerning this achievement. To put things even in greater perspective...imagine eating 9 quarter pouders with cheese in two hours. Yup, i thought that would put things in perspective... : (

Everyone though seemed to have enjoyed the food though! : )
