LIBBY

Like anyone's reading this, BUT, i can't help but think that Bush had no choice but to commute Libby's sentence.

Why would GW do something that would so tarnish the republican image so much more? Especially with an election year coming up (i.e, next year!).

I thought about this for awhile 3 minutes to be exact, and i can only think it was that GW did not want to do it. It was more likely information that Libby could possibly dispense. Basically, Libby probably threatened to divulge knowledge of the "classified" activities within not only the vice-president's office, but of the top office itself. "Classified" being that the white house refuses to let the american people know how a government for the people, by the people operates. :(

WOW, for libby to have his jail sentence revoked may depict the immense magnitude of what he knows. At the very least, he is probably privy to more than can meets the eye. (nope, i haven't seen the movie yet :)
